<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method, etc., for manufacturing a glass plate, capable of preventing glass waste from being attached to a sheet glass even when increasing a speed for forming a scribe line in the sheet glass when molding a thin sheet glass by increasing a speed for drawing the sheet glass down by a down-draw method.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a glass plate comprises: the molding step of molding molten glass into a sheet glass G using a compact; the slow cooling step of slowly cooling the sheet glass G while conveying it downward; the scribe step of movably moving a cutter part 550 in the width direction of the sheet glass G to form a scribe line S while contacting the cutter part with the sheet glass G; and the removal step of removing glass waste C attached to the cutter part 550 after the scribe line S is formed.</p> |
