PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod having an appearance of a fishing rod made of natural bamboo and a method for manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: A fishing rod of one embodiment of the present invention includes a thin and long fishing rod body on which a large number of projecting portions over substantially entire area of an outer surface of the fishing rod. The outer surface of the fishing rod body is coated with a coated film by die-coating. The coated film may be formed directly on the outer surface of the fishing rod body, or may be indirectly formed. For example, the coated film can be formed on the outer surface of the fishing rod body with a clear layer interposed therebetween. |
