PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat for a vehicle simplification of constitution of which can be achieved, and by which movement and impact of a seating person due to collision can be suppressed and a proper protection can be obtained.SOLUTION: A vehicle 10 having a front part seat 14 for inflating and expanding an air bag 32 in the interior of a seatback 20 corresponding to collision and a rear part seat 16 positioned in the rear of the front part seat 14 includes: rear part seating detection means 64 for detecting presence or absence of a seating person Pr on the rear part seat 16; and a control part 68 for controlling inflation and expansion of the air bag 32. In the seatback 20, the air bag 32 elastically supports a seating person Pf on the front part seat 14 and elastically receives an impact force given onto a back face of the seatback 20. The control part 68 stops inflation and expansion of the air bag 32 when the seating person Pr on the rear part seat 16 is absent. |
