<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure maintainability of a wheel driving device for driving a wheel of a forklift or to improve arrangement flexibility.SOLUTION: A wheel driving device 10 is provided on each of right and left wheels of a forklift and drives each wheel. Each wheel driving device 10 includes a brake 14 inside the body of the forklift. The brake 14 comprises a brake shaft 70, friction plates 78A, 78B and a brake cover 58. The brake cover 58 can be detached from the wheel driving device 10 in a state where the wheel driving device is installed on the body. The friction plates 78A, 78B are mounted on the brake shaft 70 movably in an axial direction and can be detached from the wheel driving device 10 in a state where the wheel driving device is mounted on the body by being slid to the inside of the body in the axial direction along the brake shaft 70 in a state where the brake cover 58 is detached.</p> |
