PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular power supply device capable of improving efficiency of charging one storage battery with regenerative energy and preventing overcharging another storage battery.SOLUTION: Provided is a vehicular power supply device including: a first secondary battery; a second secondary battery connected in parallel to the first secondary battery; a power supply unit generating electric power by a driving force and supplying the electric power to the first secondary battery and the second secondary battery; a switching unit electrically connecting the power supply unit to the second secondary battery; and a control unit controlling a voltage of the power supply unit and opening/closing of the switching unit depending on a charging state of at least either the first secondary battery or the second secondary battery and a vehicle operation state, the control unit turning off the switching unit until a charging rate of the first secondary battery reaches a predetermined value by supplying the electric power to the first secondary battery from the power supply unit, and turning on the switching unit when the charging rate of the first secondary battery reaches the predetermined value. |
