PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation-sensitive resin composition for forming a black pattern which sufficiently satisfies general characteristics such as sensitivity and has high adhesiveness to a substrate and sufficient light shielding properties, and to provide a cured film obtained from the radiation-sensitive resin composition, a method for producing the same and a display element having the cured film.SOLUTION: There is provided a radiation-sensitive resin composition which comprises a binder polymer (A), a photopolymerization initiator (B) and a light-shielding agent (C), where the light-shielding agent (C) is composed of a perylene-based black pigment and the other pigments and the mass% of the other pigments in the total mass of the light-shielding agent is in the range of 20 to 90 mass%.
