PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electricity storage element capable of suppressing a positive electrode or a negative electrode from being displaced from a separator in forming an electrode body.SOLUTION: An electricity storage element 10 includes an electrode body 400 having a positive electrode 410, a negative electrode 420, and a separator 430 disposed between the positive electrode 410 and the negative electrode 420. At least one of the positive electrode 410 and the negative electrode 420 includes: a base material layer; a mixture layer formed on a surface of the base material layer and containing an active material; and a first layer 441 which is a layer formed at a position adjacent to the mixture layer on the surface of the base material layer and including a portion having a height in a thickness direction higher than that of the mixture layer, and contains a substance different from the active material. |
