PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration power generation apparatus using a magnetostrictor, having a novel structure, that can achieve enhancement in efficiency of conversion of vibration energy into electric energy.SOLUTION: In a vibration power generation apparatus 10, it is designed so that: bias magnetic fields applied from a magnet 24 and a yoke member 22 can be parallely applied to a first power generation element 16 made of a magnetostrictive material and wound with a first coil 20, and a second power generation element 18 made of a magnetic material other than the magnetostrictive material and wound with a second coil 28; variation of a magnetic flux due to a bias magnetic field, brought about the first power generation element 16 due to vibration transmitted from the vibration member 11, can be extracted as electric energy by the first coil 20; and variation of a magnetic flux of the second power generation element 18 affected by variation of a magnetic flux accompanying compressive and tensile deformation of the first power generation element 16 can be extracted as electric energy by the second coil 28. |
