<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission which can properly perform the engagement of dogs while suppressing the generation of wear and noise.SOLUTION: In a power transmission device, when a first dog contacts with a movable member 55 located in an initial position in a state that an intrusion amount of the first dog in a rotation axial direction with respect to a second dog is not secured at a constant amount or larger when the first dog 51a intrudes above a rotation trace of the second dog 53a, and a salient part 51e is within a range in which the salient part does not oppose a regulation part 53d in the rotation axial direction, the first dog is introduced in a separation direction by the movable member, and the first dog retreats from above the rotation trace of the second dog, and when the first dog contacts with the movable member located in the initial position in a state that an intrusion amount of the first dog in the rotation axial direction with respect to a second dog is secured at a constant amount or larger when the salient part is within the range in which the salient part does not oppose the regulation part in the rotation axial direction, the movable member retreats to a retreat position by the first dog, and the first dog and the second dog are engaged with each other.</p> |
