<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake device for a bar handle vehicle which can assure a space for provision of an interlock mechanism.SOLUTION: In a brake device for a bar handle vehicle, a front wheel brake 2 is independently operated via a first interlock mechanism 6 by operation of an operator 4 for the front wheel brake, and the front wheel brake 2 and a rear wheel brake 3 are so operated as to be in linkage with each other via a second interlock mechanism 7 and the first interlock mechanism 6 by operation of an operator 5 for the rear wheel brake which is formed by a brake pedal 5b. The first interlock mechanism 6 includes first actuation means for actuating the front wheel brake 2 independently, and second actuation means 6f for actuating the front wheel brake 2 and the rear wheel brake 3 in linkage with each other. The second interlock mechanism 7 includes an equalizer lever 7a formed by respectively connecting pedal linkage means to an intermediate part thereof, a rod 12 for the rear wheel brake to one end part thereof, and a wire 13 for the first interlock mechanism, which is linked with the second actuation means 6f, to the other end part thereof.</p> |
