<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for repairing a drain pipe, capable of applying a liner layer for repair to the inner wall of a drain trap or a drain port corroded or damaged due to aging or the like, even in the case that the piping has a bent portion directly under the drain port, as in the case that the piping is laid in a lateral direction under the floor from a drain port of a bathroom in a general household or an apartment house.SOLUTION: A lining cloth tube is inserted inside a lining inverter, and the lower edge of the lining tube is folded back so as to be fastened to the outer periphery of the lower edge of the lining inverter. In a state that the lower edge of the lining inverter is installed on the upper edge of a drain port, the outer periphery of the drain port is covered with the lining cloth and compressed air is injected inside the lining inverter, so that the inverted lining cloth tube advances inside the piping. The lining cloth is attached to the inner wall of the piping due to the expansion of the lining tube.</p> |
