PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved machine system such as a cam follower.SOLUTION: The machine system (1) according to the present invention comprises: a tappet (10) including a main body (11); a pin (30) extending along a first axial line (X1); and a roller element (40) that can be operated under a rotary state to the pin (30) around the first axial line (X1). According to the present invention, an insert (20) supports the pin 30 in at least one first direction (D1) parallel to a second axial line (Y1) orthogonal to the first axial line (X1), and the main body (11) supports the insert (20). The present invention also relates to an injection pump with the machine system (1), and a valve actuator. The present invention further relates to a manufacturing method thereof.
