PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet size setting device that reduces operational ability required for setting a sheet size and also prevents incorrect setting of the sheet size, a paper feeder having the sheet size setting device, and an image forming device having the sheet size setting device.SOLUTION: A sheet size setting device 112 gives identification information of a size of a sheet housed in a cassette 110 to a size detection switch 10D on a body part of an image forming device 1. The sheet size setting device 112 includes an operation dial 7, a pressing unit 8, a spring 9 and an assist unit 15. When a user turns the operation dial 7, the pressing unit 8 rotates, giving the identification information to the size detection switch 10D on the body part. The assist unit 15 adds movement force in an axial direction to the pressing unit 8 in association with turning of the operation dial 7 so as to detach one engagement concave portion 812 from an engagement projection 110P against the urging force of the spring 9. |
