<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress reduction in picture quality caused by a dither matrix.SOLUTION: When a target pixel to be a pixel arranged on a first relative position viewed from an edge pixel satisfies a determination condition to be a condition including a first condition and a second condition, a binary pixel value of the target pixel is determined as a first value. When the target pixel does not satisfy the determination condition, the binary pixel value of the target pixel is determined as either one of the first value and a second value by using a dither matrix. In the first condition, an input pixel value of the target pixel is a first threshold or less (the first threshold is smaller than a maximum gradation value and a difference between the first threshold and the maximum gradation value is smaller than a difference between the first threshold and a minimum gradation value). In the second condition, an input pixel value of a reference pixel to be a pixel arranged on a second relative position opposed to the edge pixel through the target pixel is a second threshold or less (a difference between the second threshold and the maximum gradation value is larger than a difference between the second threshold and the minimum gradation value).</p> |
