<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an appearance inspection device with which it can be more easily determined whether a welding state is good or not.SOLUTION: A device for determining whether welding is good or not in a process of interposing a tabular material between two sheets having the property of partially transmitting light emitted to surfaces thereof and of welding peripheries of the sheets to pack the tabular material, includes: image-capturing means which captures an image of an inspection object in a state where the inspection object is irradiated with uniform diffusion light, and converts the image to image data; holding means which preliminarily holds, as reference brightnesses, first reference brightness obtained from an image captured in a state where a surface of one sheet is irradiated with diffusion light and second reference brightness obtained from an image captured in a state where two sheets laminated and normally welded are irradiated with diffusion light; and determination means which compares determination target brightness being brightness of an inspection area, with the first reference brightness and the second reference brightness and determines a welding state of the inspection area to be normal in a case that a difference between the determination target brightness and the second reference brightness is within a prescribed range, but determines the welding state of the inspection area to be poor in a case that a difference between the determination target brightness and the first reference brightness is within a prescribed range.</p> |
