PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating material composition that can form a coating film having a dry film thickness as large as 240μm in a one-step coating by a generally used coating means.SOLUTION: The coating material composition comprises at least (A) a main agent component including (a) an epoxy resin having a softening point by a ring and ball method of 50-170°C and (b) a modifier for a coating film with a content of the epoxy resin (a) of 12-60 mass% and a content of the modifier for a coating film (b) 2-15 mass% in the main agent component (A) and (B) a curing agent component and has a mass ratio (A:B) of the main agent component (A) to the curing agent component (B) in the ratio of 70:30 to 92:8. The coating material composition has a viscosity at a shear rate of 0.1 (1/s) of 1.0 to 500 (Pa s at 23°C) and a viscosity at a shear rate of 1,000 (1/s) of 0.010 to 3.0 (Pa s at 23°C).
