<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of producing a cement dispersant having excellent fluidity retention property.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for producing a cement dispersant which comprises the steps of: preliminarily measuring a cloud point of a copolymer obtained by copolymerization of a polyethyleneglycol(meth)acrylate having an average addition molar number of ethylene oxide of 5 or more and 50 or less and a (meth)acrylic acid under predetermined conditions in the presence of a polymerization initiator and a chain transfer agent by a preliminary synthesis step; and copolymerizing a polyethyleneglycol(meth)acrylate having an average addition molar number of ethylene oxide of 5 or more and 50 or less and a (meth)acrylic acid at a temperature less than the cloud point under the same conditions as the preliminary synthesis step except for the temperature to obtain a copolymer.</p> |
