PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coated stainless steel foil capable of preventing an enamel hair from being generated even when shear processing is performed.SOLUTION: The coated stainless steel foil comprises: a stainless steel foil; a silicate layer having a silicate of 0.1-20 mg/mby Si conversion precipitated on the surface of the stainless steel foil; a chemical conversion coating containing a silane coupling agent and an organic resin and formed on the silicate layer; and a coating film formed on the chemical conversion coating. The coated stainless steel foil can prevent an enamel hair from being generated even when shear processing is performed.
