<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image reading apparatus capable of preventing a relatively thick medium such as a plastic card from being skewed.SOLUTION: A second reading part 36 is energized towards a first reading part 35 by a left end 63 and a right end 64 of a leaf spring 61. In a main scanning direction of the first reading part 35, a card slot 121 is shorter than a length of a reading range of the first reading part 35, and a center of the card slot 121 is positioned at a right side with respect to a reading center 65 that is a center of the first reading part 35. In the main scanning direction, an energization center 62 that is a center between a position of the left end 63 of the leaf spring 61 and a position of the right end 63 thereof is then positioned at a left side with respect to the reading center 65.</p> |
