<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power distribution board that performs power line communication with a meter-reading device without being influenced by noise generated by an indoor electric apparatus.SOLUTION: A power distribution board 3 comprises: a power line; a branch breaker 14 for supplying power from a power supply source of a power company 1 and a storage battery 5 to home electric appliances; a switch 13 for connecting or disconnecting the power supply source of the power company 1 and a meter-reading device 2 to the branch breaker 14 and the home electric appliances; a PLC communication device 11 for communicating with the meter-reading device 2 via the power line by power line communication; and a controller 12 for controlling the switch 13. The controller 12 opens the switch 13 to supply power from the storage battery 5 to the home electric appliances, and closes the switch 13 to supply power from the power supply source of the power company 1 to the home electric appliances. The controller 12 opens the switch 13 to supply power from the storage battery 5 to the home electric appliances during at least part of a period when the PLC communication device 11 communicates with the meter-reading device 2.</p> |
