<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for preventing feed of a sheet to a transport path in a state where a roller pair is in a compression release state.SOLUTION: The device comprises: a feed roller 25 for feeding a record sheet 12 supported to a feed tray 20 to a transport path 65; a feed part 16 capable of changing its state between a contact state in which the feed roller 25 and the record sheet 12 are in contact with each other and a separation state in which they are separated from each other; a transport roller pair 59 capable of changing its state between a first state in which a pinch roller 61 presses a transport roller 60, and a second state in which the pinch roller 61 is separated from the transport roller 60, and capable of transporting the record sheet 12 by sandwiching it; a lever part 90 capable of moving between a first position where the transport roller pair 59 is in the first state, and a second position where the transport roller pair 59 is in the second state; and an interlock mechanism 85 which interlocks to movement operation of the lever part 90 to the second position from the first position and changing the feed part 16 from the contact state to the separation state.</p> |
