This invention is related to a refrigerator in a district cooling system that can improve the efficiency of renewable energy power generation systems while directly using district heating water of high temperature and high pressure and efficiently use surplus power in a combined-cycle thermal power plant to overcome the inefficiencies of a conventional absorption and dehumidification-type refrigerating unit which has an indirect heat exchange method generally applied to a conventional district cooling system. In particular, the refrigerator in the district cooling system can produce cold water using the evaporative latent heat needed for spray-evaporating the pressurized hot water provided through regional hot and cold water suppliers under lower pressure than the atmosphere while generating hot water from the condensed latent heat and sensible heat of steam of the evaporated pressurized hot water. The refrigerator can also improve the inefficiencies in energy use and energy supply-demand discordance by taking advantage of the surplus power of combined-cycle thermal power plants as driving power source. |
