The present invention refers to a portable training system with a record of position and orientation of the lap instrument, which uses two web cameras located in an orthogonal position and a method for the application thereof, the system and method being based on the processing of images obtained by the chromatic record of the tip of the lap surgical instrument, this being useful for performing the monitoring as well as the record against time in each 2D plane and 3D space of the path performed by the instrument during the training process. These records obtained by the system allow the objective analysis and evaluation to be performed by the laparoscopic surgeon.
