FIELD: physics, computer engineering.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to computer engineering and can be used to generate broadband random stationary signals with given characteristic and cross-spectral power densities. The apparatus comprises a single-processor computer, software for generating, based on given spectral densities S(f) and S(f), random signals in Rice-Pearson decomposition form with random phases ?and ?at each harmonic f, the phases defined by random sampling of a random value, one of which - ?for the signal x(t) is uniformly distributed in the range [-?, ?], and the other - ?for the second signal y(t) is defined as the sum ?=?+??of the random value ?and the random value ??, uniformly distributed in the range [-?, ?], the boundaries of which are defined through the cross-spectral density S(f) of random signals x(t) and y(t), followed by an inverse fast Fourier transform procedure, a digital-to-analogue converter module for converting the generated digital signals into analogue signals of the generator.EFFECT: generating two random signals with a given coherence function.1 dwg |
