<p>The invention relates to a method and a device for supplying air to a hybrid pneumatic-combustion engine (81) of a vehicle, the said hybrid engine comprising a combustion engine provided with combustion chambers (74) and with a compressed-air reservoir (82) which can be placed in communication with the said combustion chambers in such a way as to inject compressed air into the said chambers. According to the invention: - the vibrational energy due to the vibrations of the combustion engine when it is running is converted into pneumatic energy, and - the said pneumatic energy is stored in the said reservoir.</p> |
