Disclosed are multiple interpolation filtering methods and an encoding device applying the same. The interpolation filtering method obtains a plurality of interpolation images by filtering a reference image with a plurality of interpolation filtering methods and determines one among the interpolation filtering methods as a final interpolation filtering method by using the obtained interpolation images.
