FIELD: process engineering.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy and can be used at pipe rolling unit 8-16'' with Pilger mills JSC "???3". Roll body surface has working and idle parts extending through 210 and 150 degrees, respectively. Working part comprises round-section pass with tangential crosswise outlets composed of flat die, finishing section and angle of side. Flat die length makes 0.61-0.62 total length of working part with angles of side varying over flat die length from 37 to 25 degrees in cross-section of transition to finishing section. Finishing section length makes 0.23-0.24 of working part total length. Finishing section cross-section smoothly decreased to design value of finished pipe profile half. Lengthwise outlet angle length makes 0.14-0.15 of working part length while its cross-section increases depending on variation of lengthwise angle radius.EFFECT: higher mechanical properties and precision of pipe sizes.2 cl, 1 tbl
