FIELD: chemistry.SUBSTANCE: claimed is an adsorbent for the removing of organosulphur compounds from a liquid hydrocarbon fuel based on aluminium ?-oxide, modified by zinc oxide in a quantity of 0.1-10 wt %. The adsorbent is obtained by soaking ?-oxide of aluminium with a water solution of a substance, which at decomposition gives zinc oxide as the product. Solutions of zinc acetate or zinc nitrate are applied as the claimed substance.
