FIELD: physics.SUBSTANCE: geodetic prism is designed as a conical groove which is located on flat surface of a sample and has smoothed edges. The groove axis is parallel to the sample surface and is perpendicular to the direction of distribution of the surface plasmon polaritons (SPP). The groove size in the beam direction is less than the length of SPP distribution. The groove axis is located over the sample surface, and the groove edges coincide with rectilinear parts of the line of crossing of the sample surface and the groove cone surface.EFFECT: improvement of efficiency and decrease of device dimensions.3 dwg |
