<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the conventional problem of the occurrence of communication disconnection when a standby router of a virtual router is restored from a fault.SOLUTION: A transmission system includes: a first-layer virtual transmission apparatus configured with redundancy by a plurality of first transmission apparatuses having the same first identifier; and a plurality of second transmission apparatuses each constituting a second-layer network and having a second identifier. The second transmission apparatus includes: a communication unit for transmitting and receiving, as a learning frame, information that associates a first identifier of a transmission source, included in a frame received from other apparatus, with a second identifier of the self-apparatus; a learning table for registering the first identifier and the second identifier in association with each other; and a control unit for registering, when the received learning frame information is not registered in the learning table, the learning frame information into the learning table, whereas when the received learning frame information is different from information already registered in the learning table, deleting the information from the learning table.</p> |
