PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and accurately attach a mouth piece to a housing.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a light source for lighting includes the steps of: disposing a substrate 11 in a housing 20; and respectively fixing a power supply mouth piece 30 and a non-power supply mouth piece 40 to longitudinal end parts of the housing 20 or the substrate 11. In the fixing step, at least one of a mouth piece body 31 and a mouth piece body 41 is fixed to an end part of the housing 20 or the substrate 11 in the state where a fitting part 51 is fitted in a fitting part 35 and a fitting part 61 is fitted in a fitting part 45.
