PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work machine capable of preventing a battery from being degraded associated with a regeneration.SOLUTION: An inventive work machine comprises: an engine 22; a power generation motor 23; a hydraulic pump 41; hydraulic actuators 13, 14, 32, 34, 36; a revolving motor 25 for driving a revolving mechanism 26; a battery 24 for supplying electric power to the power generation motor 23 and the revolving motor 25 and being supplied with regenerative electric power generated during braking of the revolving motor 25; a restrictor valve 64 making the regenerative electric power or power of the hydraulic pump 41 be consumed; and a power control part 86 supplying a surplus electric power, which is obtained by subtracting an electric power limit value according to a current limit value capable of being supplied to the battery 24 from the regenerative electric power of the revolving motor 25 or the electric power supplied to the battery 24, to the power generation motor 23 during braking of the revolving motor 25, and changing power consumption by the restrictor valve 64 in accordance with the surplus electric power. |
