<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide compact motor and inverter at a low cost.SOLUTION: In a motor of 4-pole or more, the power required for the field winding of a rotor is supplied by using the stator windings of the same phase different in the arrangement, and field currents are supplied to the field windings 1J, 1K, 1Z, 1M, 1Q, 1R, 1G, 1T by rectifying the outputs from a plurality of rotor side power reception windings 1H, 1P, 1 L, 1S. Torque in the low-speed rotation range is thereby increased, and the rotation range capable of driving at a base speed or more is expanded by field current control. Furthermore, high efficiency is attained by enhancing utilization of each part of the motor, with voltage and current of trapezoidal waveform close to rectangular waveform. Maximum current value of the inverter can also be reduced, thus achieving compaction and cost reduction.</p> |
