<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystalline compound satisfying at least one of demands for physical properties such as high stability to heat, light or the like, a high clearing point, a low minimum temperature of a liquid crystal phase, a small viscosity, suitable optical anisotropy, a large value of dielectric anisotropy, a suitable elastic constant, and superior compatibility with other liquid crystalline compounds, and a liquid crystal composition comprising the above compound, and a liquid crystal display element including the composition.SOLUTION: A compound represented by formula (1) is disclosed.
