PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of toner with which toner can be efficiently cleaned.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of toner of the present invention includes a step of performing solid-liquid separation of slurry containing toner by using a cross-flow solid-liquid separator. The manufacturing method of toner of the present invention preferably includes a step of returning the slurry subjected to solid-liquid separation by the solid-liquid separator on the upstream side of the solid-liquid separator. The solid-liquid separator is preferably a ceramic filter or a hollow fiber membrane filter.
