摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress that vehicle behavior of one's own vehicle becomes unstable even if cutting-in occurs in a follow travel.SOLUTION: A follow travel controller sets a target vehicle speed Vt for following a preceding vehicle Ca, and controls a travel of one's own vehicle Co so as to achieve the target vehicle speed Vt. When having detected a lateral vehicle Cs traveling on an adjacent lane, the follow travel controller records a vehicle speed transition of the lateral vehicle Cs, and determines whether or not the lateral vehicle Cs has started a lane change from the adjacent lane to one's own lane so as to cut in between the preceding vehicle Ca and the own vehicle Co. When having determined that the lateral vehicle Cs has started the lane change, the follow travel controller predicts the vehicle speed transition of the lateral vehicle Cs changing until a predetermined set time Tc lapses after starting the lane change according to the vehicle speed transition recorded until starting the lane change. The follow travel controller sets the target vehicle speed Vt according to the predicted vehicle speed transition of the lateral vehicle Cs.</p>
