In the present invention, the following are provided: female terminals (2) having a connection part which is elastically deformable; a housing that houses the female terminals (2); a rotation cylinder (5) that is rotatably installed in the housing (4); and a slider (6) that is movably installed in a cylinder axial direction of the rotation cylinder via a motion direction transformation mechanism for transforming the rotation cylinder (5) rotational motion about the cylinder axis into cylinder-direction linear motion of the rotation cylinder (5). The motion direction transformation mechanism causes the slider (6) to move from a first cylinder axial position to a second cylinder axial position when the rotation cylinder (5) has rotated from a first rotation position to a second rotation position. The slider (6) is formed so that, in the first cylinder axial position, the slider is separated from connection parts (21) of the female terminals (2), and in the second cylinder axial position, the slider applies a pressing force to the connection parts (21) of the female terminals (2). The connection parts (21) of the female terminals (2) are formed so as to be positioned in opposition to male terminals (3) which are inserted into the housing (4), and so as to come into pressing force contact with the male terminals (3) due to the pressing force of the slider (6). |
