PUMP SYSTEM WITH REMOVABLE CARTRIDGE

A peristaltic pump includes a pump head (110) and a cartridge holder (112) disposed adjacent the pump head, and a removable cartridge (104) having a frame (140) disposed in the cartridge holder. The cartridge includes a first port (102) attached to the frame and configured to accept a first container type (194), a second port (144) attached to the frame and configured to accept a second container type (206) different than the first container type, and a fluid path (146) disposed in the frame in part and coupled at a first end to the first port and at a second end to the second port. The fluid path has a tubing defining a surface disposed in direct contact with the pump head to cause fluid to move along the fluid path between the first port and the second port. The peristaltic pump further comprises an adjustable container holder (220) adjacent the cartridge holder (112), the adjustable container holder having an upright position wherein the second container disposed within is in a first orientation relative to the second port (144), and an inverted position wherein the second container is in a second orientation different from and inverted relative to the first orientation.
