A manufacturing method of carbonate ester of the present invention comprises a step of preparing carbonate ester by reacting an organometallic compound represented by the following chemical formula 1, carbon dioxide, and C1 to C10 alcohol. According to the manufacturing method, carbonate ester can be manufactured in a high yield without the regeneration and recycling process of organometallic compound.
