PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrical tool hardly generating overdischarge of a secondary battery at a time of starting.SOLUTION: An electrical tool 1 includes: an electrical tool main body 10; and a battery pack 20. The electrical tool main body 10 includes: a motor 11; a control unit 13; a detection unit; and a motor drive unit 30. The battery pack 20 includes a secondary battery 21. The motor drive unit 30 includes a power switching unit 31. The power switching unit 31 supplies electric power to the motor 11 or cuts off the supply of the electric power to the motor 11 in response to a control signal from the control unit 13. The power switching unit 31 changes a quantity of the electric power supplied to the motor 11 under PWM control. The control unit 13 changes a duty ratio for the PWM control on the basis of a detection signal varying with a parameter that influences a voltage drop of the secondary battery 21. |
