PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image processor that acquires posture information when a three-dimensional image of a subject is taken, an operation method thereof, and a medical image processing program that automatically acquire posture information without inputting by a user and without causing an increase in cost.SOLUTION: A medical image processor includes: an internal organ area extraction section 11 for extracting at least one internal organ area from a three-dimensional image of a subject; a direction information acquisition section 12 for acquiring direction information for the subject based on a position in the subject of the internal organ area or a shape of the internal organ area; an installation base area extraction section 13 for extracting an installation base area where the subject is installed, from the three-dimensional image; and a posture information acquisition section 14 for acquiring position information for the subject on the installation base based on the area of the installation base and the direction information for the subject. |
