<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To weaken an influence of the color tone of an ambient light on image identification of an article and weaken an influence of the illuminance of a surrounding illumination on the image identification.SOLUTION: An article identification device of a store system comprises: a backlight panel with a backlight light source; a digital camera for imaging a tray placed on the backlight panel; a color display for displaying the image imaged with the digital camera; and an identification computer for identifying the article on the tray by image identification. The gains of the R value, G value, and B value of the digital camera is adjusted such that the representative value of brightness with respect to the image of an empty tray placed on the backlight panel may be within a predetermined range and the representative value of the R value, that of the G value, and that of the B value of the tray image may be balanced.</p> |
