PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device in a vehicle cabin which enables a lighting section to be adjusted so that proper luminance is obtained in a view point of an occupant thereby inhibiting the occupant from being annoyed even when physical frames of the occupants are different.SOLUTION: A lighting device in a vehicle cabin includes: a lighting section 4 which is attached to the interior of the vehicle cabin and lights an object in the vehicle cabin; a view point determination section 11 which determines a view point of an occupant; a distance calculation section 12 which calculates a distance between the view point and the lighting section 4; a luminance determination section 13 which determines the allowable luminance of the lighting section 4 according to the distance; and a lighting adjustment section 14 which adjusts the lighting section 4 so that the luminance becomes the allowable luminance.
