<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gate valve that even when force is applied to a seat ring, prevents rotation to hold a normal position, and maintains sealability with a disk to enable prevention of valve seat leakage or leakage between the seat ring and a valve box, and provide a fixation method of the seat ring of the gate valve.SOLUTION: In a gate valve, a disk is vertically moved through a stem in a valve box 11 having a pipeline connection part 16, and a valve seat port 17 is provided in the valve box 11 in an openable/closable manner. A seat ring 14 is mounted to the valve seat port 17, and on the side of the pipeline connection part 16 of the seat ring 14, rotation prevention means 30 is provided by a caulking fixture 25. The rotation prevention means 30 inhibits rotational force of the seat ring 14 generated from vertical control force of the disk.</p> |
