<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hub bearing capable of effectively preventing peeling due to hydrogen brittleness in a rolling contact part of a rolling surface, and enabling long-term use.SOLUTION: A hub bearing rotatably supports wheels of an automobile. At least one component having a rolling contact part in the hub bearing is made of a steel material, and at least part of an oxide-based inclusion contained in the steel material is covered with MnS. In the oxide-based inclusion having a maximum diameter of 3μm or more in the steel material, the ratio of the number of oxide-based inclusions covered with MnS to the total number of oxide-based inclusions is beyond 40%.</p> |
