<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vegetable composite material which can be produced without using a special production apparatus and furthermore has efficient mechanical strength.SOLUTION: There is provided the vegetable composite material formed from a thermoplastic resin (D) and a microfibrillated vegetable fiber surface treated by using a surface treatment agent (C) for surface untreated microfibrillated vegetable fiber (A0) and for producing a composite material formed form the thermoplastic resin (D) and the surface treated microfibrillated vegetable fiber (A) having an average fiber diameter of 4 to 10,000 nm, the surface treatment agent (C) being an aqueous dispersion (E) of a carboxyl modified olefin resin (B1) and/or a salt thereof (B2).</p> |
