a pair of substrates; an electrophoresis layer including electrophoresis particles and a dispersion medium in which the electrophoresis particles are dispersed, and arranged in plurality of cells divided by a barrier wall which is arranged between the pair of substrates; and a sealing member which seals the electrophoresis layer arranged in the cell, wherein the sealing member includes a first layer and a second layer laminated on the first layer, and wherein the electric resistance of the second layer is lower than that of the first layer. |
