forming a composite emulsion comprising a plurality of particle size distribution modes of aqueous phase particles dispersed in an oil-based fluid; and manipulating the particle size distribution modes of the composite emulsion and a volume fraction of the oil-based fluid in the composite emulsion, to obtain high internal phase ratio invert emulsion comprising a dispersed particle volume fraction of greater than about 60 volume percent, based on the based on the total volume of the high internal phase ratio invert emulsion. |
