The present invention is provided with the following: a transceiver unit (11) that, in processing distance measurements between a distance measurement device (1) and nodes (2, 3), sends a command (20) to the nodes (2, 3) of a network system comprising the distance measurement device (1) and the nodes (2, 3), and receives from the nodes (2, 3) a response (21) that is a response to the command (20); and a distance measurement control unit (12) that instructs the transceiver unit (11) to send the command (20) when distance measurement processing starts, measures the time from the transmission of the command (20) until the receipt of the response (21), and calculates from the measured time the distance between the distance measurement device (1) and the nodes (2, 3). On the basis of the calculated distance, the distance measurement control unit (12) determines the number of times to repeat the distance measurement processing from the transmission of the command (20) to the calculation of the distance. |
