<p>The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for determining an azimuth of an antenna. The disclosed method for determining an azimuth of an antenna comprises the following steps of: setting multiple divided areas by equally dividing an analysis radius to build a new base station; setting the central angle of a high priority divided area selected from the divided areas according to a result of a radio wave environment analysis of the analysis radius as an initial azimuth; and determining a final azimuth by correcting the initial azimuth according to a result of a radio wave environment of a neighboring divided area of the high priority divided area. According to the present invention, an optimal azimuth can be determined because a split angle of an analysis radius does not affect analysis time, and it does not act as a restriction factor in the analysis that an antenna type, or the like has not been decided. Also, analysis time is reduced compared to an existing technology because additional analysis time for tilt analysis is not required. Furthermore, an azimuth can be set besides a split angle of an analysis radius because the azimuth is corrected according to a result of a surrounding radio wave environment analysis, and therefore, various analysis results can be obtained.</p> |
